Nico has sophisticated equipment which provides superior level service of medium and low speed diesel engines. Where required Nico's onboard capability is supported by an extensive marine spares inventory and an ability to provide repairs/spares and operational advice as an all-inclusive package.

The service is performed in a separate air conditioned, clean and dedicated workshop. Cleaning of components is made as thorough as it can be today using a Merlin P29 cleaning tank followed by ultrasonic cleaning of the delicate critical parts.

Under the agency agreements Nico also reports these services back to the OEM's so that it can track the relevant engine's history. This, on occasion has helped operators solve strange injection problems.

Having in-house engine simulation facilities for fuel pump testing and calibration, Nico is able to extensively test cylinder lubricators and therefore has collected and studied all relevant information to service, test, and calibrate these components at any rpm.
