• 1973: Nico was established in Dubai to service the increasing marine traffic generated by the oil boom
• 1981: Nico established a diving base in Fujairah which provides a variety of sophisticated diving services to vessels and offshore installation
• 1988: Nico established NICO WORLD S.A. Nico World currently owns several supply vessels and a self propelled jack-up accommodation barge available for charter around the Middle East/ S.E. Asia & S.Africa.
• 1989: Nico acquires"MSG" in Abu Dhabi which offers professional and comprehensive repair and maintenance services to power stations, oilfields, and the general industry sector.
• 1992: Nico was nominated to represent Avesta Sheffield's Stainless Steel products in the Middle East. Mezon Technical Trading ll, Nico's trading arm is today a leading stainless steel stockist.
• 1996: Nico opened ADYARD fabrication yard in Abu Dhabi, to strengthen its position in the oil and gas sector. It is specialized in heavy steel fabrications for the offshore oil and gas industry and offshore contracting. Servicing/ refurbishing of Rigs- (MODU) mobile offshore drilling units.
• 1998: Nico established NICO WORLD S.A. NICO WORLD currently owns several supply vessels AHT/ OSV, offshore crane/ work vessel, D.P. vessel and cable laying vessel for charter in global water.
• 1999: Nico entered into a joint venture arrangement with Mitsui Babcock for boiler servicing and repairs.
