Topaz Marine Kazakhstan operates over 50 vessels, providing the services of its ice-breakers, tugs, barges, crew boats and ERRV’s to support offshore projects in the Kashagan, mainly for Agip KCO and Saipem.

The harsh climate and shallow waters of the northern Caspian dictate the type of vessels that make up the Topaz Marine Kazakhstan fleet. During winter, ice-breakers and ice-strengthened vessels must be used and the crew must be prepared to operate in temperatures 20 to 30 C below freezing.
